The Bollix

The Dogs Bollix is an excellent music venue in Auckland New Zealand. And the rumour we hear is that on Thursday June 28th the Rick Bryant Trio are going to do their first gig in a very long time, and perhaps the first of a very limited run, as we understand it, due to recording commitments on Rick's next album. The man has been busy, and has a reportoire of new songs to perform for his fans. It is likely to be a door charge only event, but if I get enough emails, I may be able to get tickets for a very limited number of you that need to know you will get in.

Funding for Community Groups (AK)
Each of Auckland City's 10 community boards has $25,000 to distribute to
community groups carrying out projects of benefit to the residents in their
local area. The Community Board Local Fund aims to support the processes and
activities that enable people to get together to improve their local
communities. Funding is available for an activity, project, programme or
event that starts after 1 October 2007 and ends before 30 September 2008.
The deadline for applications is 5pm, 13 July 2007. Application forms will
be available from Auckland City in June and will be downloadable from
